safe and drug free workplace. All new employees are safety trained and
tested prior to starting work. Our on-going training program includes
twice yearly training sessions for all employees as well as OSHA and MSHA
specific training and refresher courses. A favorite factor in our safety
program is the employee safety reward component, a line item of our budget
we take great delight in exceeding.
or the past two years we have received awards from the State of North
Carolina recognizing our exemplary safety record and attesting to the
effectiveness of our company wide Safety and Training Program.

action meetings, on site reviews and regular training and refresher
courses. We aggressively support a drug free work place and encourage
our subcontractors to do likewise. Each employee participates in
initial training to both OSHA and MSHA standards, weekly tool-box
talks, job site safety reviews, and safety bonus programs.

trainers for employee safety certifications. Our Experience Modification
Rating is well below the industry average demonstrating our commitment to
